Built to last.

At Affordable Abodes, we believe in creating hope, together. That means building homes with the community’s participation, to their needs. Made with KENAFCRETE®, AASB homes are built to last. We test our panels rigorously to ensure they meet construction standards. The result: a safe home that will last for years to come, even under the harshest conditions.

Our panels have passed the following safety testing and certifications:

SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd

  1. Fire Test: BS 476 Part 22 1987

  2. Hose Stream Test: ASTM E2226

  3. Water Absorption: ASTM C272/272M - 16

CREAM CIDB

  • Compressive & Transverse Load: ASTM E72 - 15; Clauses 9 & 11

  • Industrialised Building System (IBS) Certification

Flexible design.

Every KENAFCRETE® panel is built to rigorous and recognised standards, ensuring occupant safety and longevity for years to come.

Built to a reasonable price point, able to meet even small budgets, the AASB home is a flexible option to develop the future of housing. Its modular concept allows for easy expansion of single unit houses to double or triple-unit extensions. The home’s size can grow along with your family, even after original construction.

Our projects have been featured on state news and television, demonstrating a high level of excellence and reputability behind every home.

We make it
faster.

Using lightweight and smaller sized panels allows us to transport parts and construct homes with far less cost than a traditional pre-fabricated panel system.

Old school, New tech

On average, we are able to complete one house in three to four weeks, from start to finish (Site Prep to Finishing Works).

Using lightweight, modular panels allows us to transport parts and construct homes with far less cost than a traditional pre-fabricated panel system. This reduces transportation costs and the related environmental impacts, allowing us to pass the savings on to our customers.

This has also removed the need for expensive and complex machinery like cranes, bringing our build time down significantly. Reducing the need for labour also brings significant cost reductions. Overall, reduced construction time translates into reduced construction costs.

Compared to a similar home built with traditional methods, on average this creates the following savings:

  1. 76% reduction in construction time

  2. 30% reduction in construction costs

Average Build Time: 21 days
